Network Security Implementation Engineer – Citrix Consultant

Primary Location: UK-based

OverBright is looking to take on a Citrix technology expert for our Workplace Consulting team.

Working on some of the largest and leading edge projects, the purpose of the Network Security Implementation Engineer is to be customer facing and play an active role in mid to large scale cloud based computing and desktop virtualisation projects for our customers. This will involve delivering throughout the complete project lifecycle including pre-sales, design and as part of build, test and deployment teams.

This role is focused primarily on Citrix technologies and we are looking for an expert to supplement our growing focus on this technology vendor. Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience of implementing multiple technologies in the Citrix product stack. We will however, consider candidates that demonstrate strengths in similar technologies.

The key areas and technologies the ideal candidate will show strong experience in are:

Solid knowledge of at least two of the following: Cisco (PIX, IPS, routers, switches), F5, Citrix Netscaler
Integrate multiple SBC and VDI technologies to provide a unified solution to end users
The ability to design solutions based on physical and virtual environments
Excellent technical knowledge of storage platforms, and how to optimize them for SBC
Design and Implementation knowledge of Citrix Access Gateway and NetScaler technologies
Experience in designing highly available, cross data centre solutions
Experience or knowledge of alternative remote access / WAN optimisaton technologies would be advantageous

Qualifications

In addition to the technical knowledge and project delivery experience, the ideal candidate will come from background with excellent customer facing skills, have experience of producing high quality written deliverables (High/Detailed Level Design, responses to RFP/RFI etc), be a team player actively contributing to knowledge sharing, and must be willing and able to travel within the UK and less frequently internationally.

The perfect candidate will possess at least ONE of the following qualifications:

CCNA, CCEE, CCA for Citrix NetScaler 9, F5-SEL: F5 System Engineer – LTM, F5-SEG F5 System Engineer – GTM

OR Attended CNS-300-2 – Advanced Administration for Citrix NetScaler 9.0 Platinum Edition

Account Manager – New Business Development

A strong understanding of Citrix, VMWare and MicroSoft
Ability to present at Director and CEO level
Storage and Managed Services experience

Marketing and Sales Coordinator

Primary Location: Kettering

Salary: £20K to £28K based upon experience

Key Purpose

Contribute to the development of, coordinate and optimise a comprehensive in-house marketing plan. The chosen candidate will also play a significant role in providing support to our growing sales organisation.

Reporting to the Operations Director the Marketing Coordinator will provide hands on coordination of all marketing activity to ensure consistency, continuity and effective marketing service delivery across the business.

The Marketing Coordinator role is key within the organisation and will make a significant contribution to the success of the business through the delivery of excellent outcomes focussed on both internal and external marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will be proactive in their approach towards dealing with both internal team members and external partners. Strong communication and organisational skills will play an important role in ensuring programmes are planned and executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator has responsibility for all of the functions that deal with the needs and activities of the organisation’s marketing activity including these specific areas of responsibility.

Coordination of 3rd party supplier activity
Management and optimisation of Partner Co-op programmes
Coordination of PPC and SEO activity with external service provider
Coordination of email and telemarketing campaigns with service providers
Generation of case studies, thought leadership content and testimonials through Consulting team
Coordination with external agencies used for PR and lead generation.
Generation of the company newsletter and other external marketing communications
Generation of client specific information to support client engagement initiatives
Budget tracking and control
Coordinate events including meetings, speaking engagements, seminars, trade shows etc.
Helping with the development of marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content.
Planning , concept development and execution of print and media campaigns.
Monitoring company communications plan and strategy for uniformity in message, including templates, tag lines, and logo usage
Prepare and provide marketing activity reports

Marketing Skills and Attributes

Broad understanding of key marketing disciplines. Knowledge and experience of Marketing in an IT environment and ability to adapt this to a face-paced and dynamic environment.

Excellent project management skills
Management and optimisation of third part co-op programmes
Experience of successfully planning and delivering marketing programmes end to end
Experience of organising events and speaking engagements
Excellent writing skills in both a marketing and proposal capacity
Experience in campaign project planning and delivery
Experience in marketing IT services to business is expected
